Wizard Gallery is a contemporary art gallery founded in 2005 in Milan and an office in London, presenting a diverse group of more than 30  artists. Initially established as Federico Luger (FL Gallery), it was renamed Wizard Gallery in 2020.

 

The gallery represents artists with research-driven practices that explore the intersections of art, science, technology, the environment, and the living. These artists thoughtfully engage with the materials and tools that play an important role in their creative processes, contributing to the gallery's dynamic exhibitions program, which includes both in-gallery and off-site presentations. The gallery has also included Latin American art in its program, reflecting its dedication to a wide range of artistic voices.

 

WIZARD has done at least 92 exhibitions (74 solo shows and 18 group shows) with 64 artists, mostly in Milan. WIZARD is a reference of Latin American artists in Italy. The artists have obtained the Golden Lion of the Venice Biennale and are included in numerous public collections like MoMA NY, POMPIDOU Paris, MOCA, LACMA, PEREZ MUSEUM Miami, LUDWING MUSEUM, MAXXI of Rome, CAB DE BURGOS, REINA SOFIA Madrid among other institutions and as well in many private collections. The artists has well have participated in the Liverpool Biennial, São Paulo Art Biennial, Sydney Biennial among others.

 

 WIZARD GALLERY participated in no less than 74 art fairs, including: Artissima, MiArt, Expo Geneva, Art Monte- Carlo, Expo Chicago, Untitled Miami, ARTEFIERA Bologna, Zona MACO, Untitled Miami, Untitled San Francisco, PINTA London, Pinta Miami, Paris PHOTO among others. Winning the Artists Awards of the Fairs in ARCO 2008, Artissima 2019 and Art Verona 2020.

 

Since its opening, WIZARD GALLERY collaborates with museums and both national and international Institutions. Among the most recent collaborations stand out: MAXXI, Rome; Centro San Fedele, Milano; Palazzo Fortuny, Venice; Mart, Rovereto; MoMA, NY; Ludwig Museum, Budapest; Museo Ettore Fico, Torino.

 

WIZARD GALLERY takes a proactive role driving change in society with activities that include book presentations and talks, interviews, site specific project rooms, studio visits and special projects related to a variety of current themes like gender equality, sustainability and international affairs with projects in collaboration with other galleries and institutions.
