Igor Eskinja’s installations and photographs captivate with their unusual combination of elements:
abstract and figurative, three- and two-dimensional, metaphors and symbols. Starting point of all his
works is the form and especially the particular architecture of the various exhibition spaces which never
ceases to inspire him. Eskinja often responds with site-specific works made from industrial materials
applied directly onto walls or floors, only to be destroyed after the end of the exhibition.
