Magdalena Campos-Pons
Maria Magdalena Campos-Pons is a Cuban-American artist known for her multidisciplinary work, which includes photography, painting, sculpture, and performance art. Born on December 22, 1959, in La Vega, Matanzas, Cuba, she has gained recognition for her exploration of themes related to identity, culture, and memory, often drawing upon her Afro-Cuban heritage and her experiences as a diaspora artist.
