From September 18 to 22, 2024, the Maison de l'Amérique Latine in Paris will host the first Edition of MIRA LATINO ART FAIR , a contemporary art fair dedicated to celebrating contemporary artists of the Latin American art scene. Located in a historic mansion in the heart of Paris, Maison de l'Amérique Latine is a prestigious venue known for its elegant neoclassical architecture and lush gardens, making it an ideal setting for this exclusive event.
MIRA aims to offer an intimate and high-quality experience, bringing together approximately 20 galleries that specialize in Latin American art. Participants include renowned galleries such as WIZARD GALLERY, featuring artists Diango Hernandez, Raul Cordero, and Edgar Orlaineta. There will be a great line up of galleries: El Apartamento Gallery; Proyectos Monclova; and Continua Gallery, among others. These galleries will present never-before-seen works, spotlighting Latin America's dynamic contribution to contemporary art.
The fair not only showcases exceptional art but also emphasizes sustainability, making ecological responsibility a central theme of its mission. Visitors will enjoy a comprehensive cultural journey, including contemporary art exhibitions, live Latin American music, and authentic regional cuisine, all designed to immerse them in the rich heritage of Latin America.

The MIRA Art Fair's selection committee includes experts and collectors in Latin American art. Members are curators Maylin Perez and Laura Salas Redondo; Teofilo Cohen, Director of Galerie Proyectos Monclova; Christian Gundin, Director of Galerie el Apartamento; collectors Renaud and Stephanie Bergonzo; and Barbara Newman, who is both a curator and collector.

Manuela has a passion for promoting Latin American artists on an international stage. Her work emphasizes sustainability and cultural exchange, aiming to create a vibrant and inclusive art community. Through MIRA, she aims to highlight the dynamic and diverse nature of Latin American art and culture.
Manuela Rayo is the founder of the MIRA Art Fair, an event dedicated to showcasing contemporary Latin American art in Paris. With a deep background in the art world, including extensive experience with art fairs in Bogotá and Paris,
Based in Paris, Manuela has extensive experience in the art world. She worked in public relations at the Réunion des Musées Nationaux - Grand Palais from March 2023 to March 2024. Prior to that, she was a exhibition curator for 193 Gallery from January 2023 to June 2023. Her background also includes a role in public relations at the Musée du Louvre from March 2020 to March 2021.
Manuela’s diverse experience and passion for art have driven her to create MIRA, aiming to bring the dynamic and diverse nature of Latin American art to an international audience.
