Wizard Gallery è lieta di presentare la mostra “Researching for a Message”" dell'artista Attila Szűcs.
La mostra è composta da una serie di ritratti, persone che vivono in un mondo lontano da quello fisico, un luogo senza gravità, il mondo digitale. Uno spazio fluttuante in continua trasformazione, in cui navighiamo tra migliaia di finestre, dati, applicazioni e dispositivi dove lo schermo diventa lo specchio dell'individuo, uno specchio comune in grado di parlarci e farci da guida e noi ci lasciamo condurre, più o meno consapevolmente...
Attila Szűcs mostra al centro una stanza vuota, con le luci accese, un mondo che non può essere spento.
Da che parte stiamo? Sarà lo specchio/schermo a decidere chi siamo…
I suoi lavori sono stati esposti in diverse mostre sia personali che collettive (KW Institute for ContemporaryArt, Berlino; Ludwig Museum, Budapest; Künstlerhaus Bethanien, Berlino; Teylers Museum,Haarlem, nei Paesi Bassi). Le sue opere fanno parte di alcune collezioni permanenti di rilievo: Neue Galerieam Landesmuseum Joanneum di Graz (Austria), Hungarian National Gallery, Ludwig Museum di Budapest.

WIZARD is pleased to present the solo show by the Hungarian artist Attila Szűcs “Researching for a Message”.
The exhibition consists of a series of portraits, people living in a world far from the physical world, a place without gravity, the digital world. A fluctuating space in constant transformation, where we navigate through thousands of windows, data, applications and devices where the screen becomes the mirror of the individual, a common mirror that can speak to us and guide us, and we allow ourselves to be led, more or less consciously...
Attila Szűcs places at the center an empty room with the lights on, a world that cannot be turned off.
Whose side are we on? Will the mirror/screen decide who we are...?
Attila Szűcs was born in Miskolc, Hungary in 1967 and currently lives and works in Budapest. His work has been shown in numerous solo and group exhibitions (KW Institute for Contemporary Art, Berlin; Ludwig Museum, Budapest; Künstlerhaus Bethanien, Berlin; Teylers Museum, Haarlem, The Netherlands). His works are also held in permanent collections such as Neue Galerie am Landesmuseum Joanneum in Graz (Austria), Hungarian National Gallery, Ludwig Museum in Budapest.
